Fountain Inn Natural Gas has been serving customers for over 60 years by providing natural gas in a safe and secure environment. As a municipal enterprise, the Fountain Inn Natural Gas System has flourished and today serves over 7,500 residential, commercial and industrial customers.
The system includes approximately 270 miles of natural gas pipeline. 70% of our system is plastic and 30% is steel. We have 9 regulator stations. We carry many different gas appliances including Tankless Hot Water Heaters, Gas Fireplaces, Gas Logs, Freestanding Gas Fireplaces, Grills, Patio Heaters and much, much more. Each new or existing Homeowner must show proof of ownership when establishing a new account by way of the Closing Disclosure, bill of sale or contract for purchase. This must accompany the New Home Owner application form found below along with a copy of a valid picture ID. Each new or existing rental customer must show proof of rental or lease when establishing a new account by way of a current rental/lease agreement. This must accompany the Renter application form found below along with a copy of a valid picture ID.
$50.00 Non-Refundable Service Application Fee plus a Deposit based upon a utility credit check. After completing 12 months consecutive on time payments the deposit will be credited back to the gas account. When the account is finalized and a credit remains, it will be mailed to the forwarding address supplied by the customer. Please Note: The normal refund process can take between 3-6 weeks depending upon your normal bill cycle.

Each new Commercial/Industrial customer must complete the Commercial/Industrial Application Form located below as well as provide proof of ownership or lease agreement of property where business will be located.
$50.00 Non-Refundable Service Application Fee plus a $200 Security Deposit. The deposit remains on the account until the account is closed. The $200 deposit will be applied to the final bill and a refund mailed if there is a credit as long as a valid forwarding address is supplied. Please note: The normal refund process can take between 3-6 weeks depending upon your normal bill cycle.
Each new individual service line must complete the Builder Application Form which includes the Application, Rules and Regulation Sheet, Excess Flow Valve and Underground Line Marking forms.
Non –Refundable $50.00 Excess Flow Valve charge and a $150 Service Line charge.
